Overview

Having a large, distributed workforce, meant that communicating with employees, particularly to those that were non-desk based, had became increasingly challenging for the leadership team – with current communication systems and channels proving to be ineffective.

Newell Rubbermaid wanted a system that would make it simple for senior leaders to reach and communicate with employees, and also a platform that would enable colleague-to-colleague communication.

The key requirements were:

Provide a medium for employees to share and consume company and product news on the go

Drive innovation by giving employees a way to share product ideas and enhancements

Connect employees with senior leaders, giving them a channel to ask questions and receive answers from the leadership team
